Seahaven Village assures that it will:
- Provide a safe and secure environment for young
people who come to celebrate the end of the school year. There
is also an acknowledgement that young people should maintain a
responsibility for their own safety whilst in the area.
- Treat young people with respect and dignity
at all times.
- Ensure that all advertising is accurate and
could not mislead young people.
- Have developed procedures in case of incident
or discipline of a young person that ensures that the young person's
safety is considered and maintained. This may comprise of a commitment
to contact parents if an issue occurs that would require a young
person being asked to vacate a property.
RESERVATIONS
- Under eighteen years old need to supply written
parental consent before bookings are confirmed.
- References checks may be asked for- i.e. school
and/or employer if working part time.
- Deposit- 50% within two weeks of booking, otherwise
reservation will lapse.
- Final payment within one month of commencement
of stay.
- If any guest chooses to cancel or depart early,
no refunds are given.
BOND
- $100 per person will be held.
- Due on check in and paid in cash.
- Bond fully refundable within 5 working days
provided no damage to property and 'general rules' detailed below,
have been strictly adhered to.
- Responsibility for damage is collective.
- Cost of any repairs will be taken out of bond.
- Damage exceeding the amount of the bond is
guests combined responsibility.
SAFETY ISSUES
- Keep within the well lit street areas at night
- Keep voices low - sound travels further at
night
GENERAL RULES
- All rubbish to be wrapped and tied and placed
in rubbish bins provided.
- No littering of the outside of the premises
allowed. Infringement could result in cost of clean up being deducted
from bond money.
- No illicit drugs allowed.
- No smoking inside at any time. When smoking
outside, cigarette stubs to be treated as litter and cleaned up,
otherwise cost of clean up will be deducted from bond money.
- After 11 pm no excess noise from radios, musical
equipment, TVs, voices etc., be allowed to penetrate outside the
building. Infringement could result in loss of bond money.
- Property to be secured when left unattended.
- Only registered guests allowed on the premises
or in the grounds of the rental property between the hours of
Spm and Sam. Infringement could result in loss of bond money and/or
return of accommodation fee and request to terminate booking.
- Time of commencing the booking and time of
vacating the premises for each individual accommodation house
to be strictly adhered to
- Premises are to be left in a clean and tidy
manner
PLEASE NOTE
- Seahaven Village reserves the right to evict
guests should behaviour be unacceptable, such as a breach of the
general rules, excessive drinking, causing untoward behaviour,
loud or abusive. shouting or disturbance. In such Instances, Seahaven
Village wlll have a plan that considers young people's safety,
such as contacting parents.
- Failure to abate noise can become a police
issue and may result in a fine of up to $500.
